Overview
914Electric produces and sells specialized technical materials and related physical products. Due to the nature of these products, returns and refunds are limited as described below.
Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.
Printed Guides and Technical Reference Materials (Including Posters)
No Returns After Shipment
All printed guides are non-returnable once shipped.
This category includes printed manuals, poster-sized wiring diagrams, harness maps, and other technical reference materials.
Each guide is a physical, technical reference intended for use by experienced and safety-aware individuals. Once shipped, printed guides cannot be returned for refund or exchange.
Defective or Damaged Prints
If your printed guide arrives defective or damaged due to printing or shipping, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos showing the defect or damage
If the issue is confirmed:
- You will be required to return the original guide
- Return instructions will be provided after review
- Once the returned guide is received and inspected, a replacement copy will be issued
Refunds are not provided for print defects. Replacement copies only.
- We reserve the right to deny replacement if:
- The guide is not returned
- The damage is inconsistent with printing or shipping defects
- The request falls outside the 7-day notification window
No Refunds for Use-Related Outcomes
We do not offer refunds or replacements for issues arising from:
- Misuse or misinterpretation of the guide
- Lack of technical skill or experience
- Project outcomes, results, or decisions made using the guide
- Dissatisfaction after use or partial use
The guide is informational in nature and assumes a competent reader.
Technical Components and Hardware
Returns
Component mounting hardware and technical parts may be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused, uninstalled, and unmodified
- All original packaging and components are included
- The item shows no signs of installation, wear, or alteration
Items that have been installed, test-fit, modified, or used are not eligible for return.
Return requests must be approved in advance by contacting support@914electric.com.
Unless the item is defective or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Defective Hardware
If a hardware item arrives defective or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and order details. Verified defects may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion.
Merchandise (Apparel, Mugs, Stickers, Decals)
Returns
Merchandise items may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused and in original condition
- Apparel is unworn and unwashed
- The item is returned in original packaging
To request a return, contact support@914electric.com before sending any item back. Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Unless the item is defective or incorrect, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
To obtain a different size or item, please return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.
Sale Items and Gift Cards
All sale items and gift cards are final sale and non-returnable.
European Union Customers
If eligible merchandise (excluding printed technical guides) is shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused and in original condition.
This right does not apply to printed technical guides once shipped.
Refund Processing (Merchandise Only)
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Processing occurs within 10 business days after inspection
- Financial institutions may require additional time to post the refund
